We in Helmdon are very privileged to have access to this superb Victorian hall, which is the hub and meeting place for many of the village organisations and events.
The Reading Room boasts 3 seperate spaces, hireable individually or as a whole – the meeting room, the ‘Lounge’ and the main hall. The main hall has a HD projector and 5.1 surround sound system, the meeting room and lounge have wall-mounted UHD smart TVs, all available for public use. There is seating available for 60, 8 small tables which seat 4 people, and 8 large tables which seat 8-10 people.
We also have a fully fitted out kitchen with double ovens, double sinks, microwave and coffee and tea making facilities, 2 general use unisex toilets, and an accessible toilet with baby change facilities.
